What other options are there than this Pure Sleep device? I don’t like the fact that you have to keep buying a new mouth piece every month or so. For $60 bucks you would think they could make something more durable.

Jim brings up a valid point. HOWEVER, you also have to factor a good night's sleep without snoring into the equation. How much is THAT worth? Keep in mind that there are alternatives to the PureSleep device. Check out my post called

The PureSleep product does do what is advertized, but BEWARE !!!! The product is guaranteed for 30 days and after that, you’re screwed. The material wears out and you are back to square one. Their answer…. you
need to purchase another one”. Don’t get sucked in !!!!!!! You will be
buying this product for life. It is not worth it !!!!!!!!!!!

Have been using PureSleep now for nearly 3 years. I was skeptical and my wife was totally a non believer…..until I stopped snoring the first night and she (and I) have been getting a full night sleep ever since (ok…except for the occaisional over 50 bladder issues!!). I am 6’2″ 245 pounds and just started snoring a few years back as I had been gaining weight, etc. Also grinding teeth and had some sensitive molars when exposed to ice or hot soup. I am telling you that the puresleep device has solved all of these problems for me. Only have the once in a while “drool” but that doesn’t happen much once you get used to the device. Sometimes on a business trip, I will forget to bring it and what a mistake. While I can’t hear myself snore….I feel like I only get a half night sleep. By opening up the windpipe a bit, I get a full dose of oxygen everynight….amazing difference!. It does take awhile to get used to the jaw movement…and after 3 years my jaw shape has changed a bit but my dentist says its ok. I just stretch my jaw out on the drive to work every morning and it is fine. I do not work for pure sleep nor am getting paid. Just ordering my 3rd device after nearly 3 years. While $60 may seem like a lot….its pennies if you get anywhere close to the benefits that I have received. I kid you not and neither does my happy (and much more romantic:)) wife!! Scott

I have been using Puresleep for over two years after find out I had sleep apnea and tried variuos procedures including extensive surgery (removing tonsil, uvala, adenoids and scaring of throat) that helped somewhat. But the Puresleep mouthpiece by far has reduced to almost elimination of my snoring. And by weight control (healthy eating AND exercise) I sleep like a baby fully rested without or very little snoring. Please do yourself a favor and try it. Even if it doesn’t work for you the cost is so small that not to try it would be a shame. I do not work for Purresleep and they have not paid me, I am a satisfied coustomer buying my second device. by the way the second one cost me less than the first time,$39.99 plus S&H.

Don’t think the refund can give you confidence. They dodge honoring it.

Glad to hear that it worked out for you (and your husband!). I’ve found that the PureSleep device tends to work well for a wide range of people. However, there are some for whom it will not work well or at all. However, you never know until you give it a try!

By the way, you’re advice on getting an extra one as a “back-up” is right on. The device wears out after about a year or so. Also, it’s nice to have another one handy in case your old one is no longer effective and needs to be re-adjusted.

I purchased this mouth piece for my husband and IT MOST DEFINITELY WORKS, he can now sleep next to me rather than on the couch…. The BEST money I have ever spent on him , and FYI, it is wise to purchase a “back-up” just in case.. if you are a repeat customer there is a very nice discount they offer..

I just want to say the device probably saved my marriage (just kidding). I have been using it for two weeks now my wife no longer sleeps on the couch which makes us both happy. I was scheduled for surgery to stop my snoring but being in the medical field I thought to try the least invasive first. This is probably the best $ 65.00 ever spent and it works. My wife said I had three different snores my everyday snore, my exhausted snore & my alcohol induced snore so far it has worked for all three. What have you got to lose

Glad to hear things worked out. I found that it took multiple adjustments until I found a setting I could live with (or sleep with) that also reduced my snoring. Finding a balance is very much a trial-and-error exercise.

Worked for me from the first night!! I’m now about 6 days into using it and am quite used to it. Jaw is now only slightly sore in the morning and no problem with my teeth. I think one key when forming it is not to overdo the forward jaw thing. I can see how people with TMJ would have problems with it, but it works for me and that’s all that counts. Wife is very happy.

The Pure sleep device works. The only time I snore is when I forget to put in in. I wish I had gotten my wife one, But she probably wouldn’t use it any way. Worth the money for sure.

I don’t think you get “addicted,” your body just learns to adjust to sleeping with it. And you’re right – it does take some getting used to at first!

I have been using pure sleep for 3 months. At first it was a little hard to get used to but now I do not go to bed without it. I have talked to another friend of mine who told me about Pure Sleep it is all most like you get addicted to it.

It absolutely does work. In my case, mitigated my snoring minor sleep apnea by keeping my airway open. Worth every penny.
